Montecristo is the most famous of the Havana brands, even though it was established relatively recently, in 1935. The brand is named after the novel by Alexandre Dumas 1844 novel "the count of Montecristo" and the boxes are decorated with fleur-de-lis and crossed sword. Montecristo is best known for its distinctive flavour and unique blending - making it the best selling cigars for the past 20 years.
